G20 is an intergovernmental forum comprising 19 countries and the European union. 
It works to address major issues related to the global economy such as international financial stability, climate change mitigation, and sustainable development.

India assumed the G20 Presidency on the 1st of December 2022 from Indonesia and will convene the G20 Leaders' Summit for the first time in the country in 2023.
